Riverside Arts Weekend is planned and organized by a small but mighty team of individuals who all believe in bringing a world-class event to our lovely town.​ We are always looking for more people to help us put on this beloved event.
Volunteer Opportunities
Join us for an hour, a day, the weekend or a few times a year! We need your help.
No time commitment is too small to support us in the
monumental undertaking we have to produce this event!
It’s also a great way to earn community service hours.
Volunteer for RAW on the weekend of the event:
Choose time slots that fit your availability. On-site volunteers are important for keeping the weekend running smoothly.
Set Up: Assist with setting up artists and community booths prior to the event. Saturday and Sunday morning hours available.
Information and Activity Booths: Help direct visitors and answer basic questions.
Artist Hospitality: Provide support for artists by bringing around water/coffee or sitting in booths to allow artists to take a break (no selling), keep our artist hospitality space stocked.

Join a RAW Planning Committee
The Board meets October – June for 1 meeting per month (can join virtually) as we plan and delegate our needs for the coming RAW. Your ideas and/or your time executing the tasks is so greatly needed and appreciated. Every year our goal is to expand and improve RAW, so if you have a little extra time or some new ideas, here’s how you can help:
Operations: Plans and executes event logistics, food vendor solicitation, music/performance recruitment, judge recruitment/onsite judging logistics, artist hospitality coordination, post event paperwork/evaluation.
Artist Engagement: Assist with the call for artists promotion, artist application and review, park layout, artist logistic communication/onsite packet.
Finance: Help with sponsor engagement and recognition, CAP auction, grants.
Community Engagement: Support the children’s activities, volunteer engagement.
Promotion/Communications: Help with the website, social media, advertising, onsite recognition (signage, MC, award winners).
